Jeanne-
Let me share my congratulations, too. Your curse did wonders for my
shastas last year and this year they're blooming like crazy. So much
so, in fact, that I cut a huge (HUGE!) bouquet for my neighbor, which
she gleefully accepted. Then I realized from smelling my own small
arrangement that some unwanted animal must have made a urinal out of
them. Nasty, nasty smell.
/ Some daisies just smell this way of their own accord. Every time I smell
them I wonder where the phrase "fresh as a daisy" came from, with an odor
like that!
Keep meaning to apologize to my neighbor...!
Could you possibly curse my coreopsis instead?
TIA!
