RE: delphiniums/ lovely combination

Good morning everyone,

I just saw a very pretty combination on the way to work today in one of the
gardens I regularly take a gander at on my hour commute (I can hear the
signs of pity) ...

ANYWAY, this person had grown the shorter (about 2-3') dark blue delphinium
with the dark burgandy/red "Red Rocket" snapdragons. Even though both are
vertical plants, they were quite stunning together. I realize the snaps
aren't perennials, but they will often live over in my climate and are
readily available as an annual as well.

Anyone else see some lovely combinations in garden tours/spring roamings?

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.

I AM in shape. ROUND is a shape!
