Re: what's in bloom now
Doreen
there you go again. It's not enough that you have hollyhocks growing
in you lawn, now you have tomatoes growing in your compost pile.
just kidding you a little, only because you have hollyhocks
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and speaking of compost we were speaking of compost weren't we. Oh
well I want to ask for advice.
I have a large pile of wood chips that I aquired in the early spring
and today I purchased a bag of cow manure and a bag of 13-13-13
fertilizer. someone told me that it would speed up the rotting
process, I asked the feed store person his opinion and his very words
were "it'll do it" advice was to cover the pile with plastic and
keep it watered down "that should heat it up during our Mississippi
summer months.
any and all advice is accepted what does everyone think
Thanks
