Daylilies (Was: low maintenance)

I'm just getting into them myself--thanks to my sister. I have 5 known
varieties, one unknown, one that I can't find listed.
Being in zone 7, your summer is considerably more advanced than mine and I
expect that affects the time of bloom. I'm guessing that I'm about one
month behind you.
I'll list the daylilies in my garden and when I expect them to start
blooming. Since I'm sure that we have one or two in common, you should be
able calculate your bloom time for the others.
Stella D'oro
- started yesterday and blooms to late Aug.
Eenie weenie
- any day now
Catherine Woodbury
- early to mid July
Hall's Pink
- mid to late July
Frans Hals
- It didn't bloom for me last year (its first year in my garden) but I'm
expecting it to bloom in late July
Wyandotte (?)
- I bought this one this spring. I can't find it on any listing but the
tag says that it blooms from July to August. It has buds now and I'm
expecting that it will start blooming at the end of the month.
Unknown variety
- This is one that my sister gave me a couple of years ago. A few months
ago I asked the group if anyone could identify it. Everyone gave it a good
try but none of the suggestions fit. It blooms in mid to late August when
almost everything else in the garden is finished.
Next year, I'd like to add two or three repeat bloomers. Any suggestions
for zone 3?
