I am so sorry to hear of this (I am groping for words)shocking ,tragedy ..
On,the other hand your spirit sounds good,fighter that you are..I was concerned
after not 'seeing'you out and about on the WWW but never dreamed of anything so
severe.
When you get the prosthesis it'll be back to the 'ol obligatory weed duty with you
;-)
no excuses routine,dont cha know.?
Seriously,wish your mending be a fast and complete one .
