Re: Daylilies and deer
When I lived in Gettysburg, PA the deer routinely ate the first sprouting of
the daylilies. But the plants always seemed to recover and bloomed very well
in spite of being eaten. I lived on the road where the Rebels marched from
Harrisburg to meet the Federal Cavalry for the first day's battle at
Gettysburg. We were surrounded by battle monuments.
