Have you thought about "sticky traps"? They are a yellow piece of paper
with the stickiest stuff imaginable on it. You said the trips like your
yellow flowers, right? These traps have a holder that you put the paper in
and then you insert it in the pot, ground or where ever you have a problem.
That combined with the insecticidal soaps might help. Just a thought.
