Title: Re: Tree peony move
Would it be possible to successfully transplant a 10 year old tree peony? I want to bring it with me when I relocate in June. Guess I should lift and burlap it right now before the buds open? However, I would rather leave it behind than kill it.
When is the best time to divide Helleborus?

Now would be the best time to move the peony and divide the
Helleborus.. As for the peony, get as large a rootball as
possible. Don't be surprised if it sulks this year or even next
- they don't usually like to be moved. If it needs any
trimming, do that now also.
