Maybe you might be able to help.
Let's start from the beginning. I represent a famous ski resort in France (Val Thorens, highest resort of Europe...) situated at 2300 m altitude (I mean the bottom of the resort.) The ski area goes up to 3300 meters. Of course, in our region, trees don't grow up at this altitude, and this is quite annoying for us as eventhough the landscape looks great, people are often annoyed by the absence of trees. So our chairman heard recently about an altitude nursery in the region of Calgary and ask me to search for it on the Internet. But couldn't find a thing. Is there anything you can do for me ? (temperatures can go down -20° C, but the average is around 0° C at 2300 m during the winter season). Thanks a lot anyway. Ben
Duncan
