RE: Anyone heard of/grown aconitum lamarkii?

I haven't, but perusing my Amer Hort Soc A-Z Encyclopedia, they say "See A.
lycoctonum subsp. neapolitanum." So I "saw" the latter and it says "(Wolf's
Bane.) Erect perennial with rounded, 5- to 7-lobed, dark green leaves and
panicles of usually yellow, somtimes purple flowers borne in mid- and late
summer. 3-5 ft high, 12" wide. Zones 5-8. subsp ...neapolitanum...has 7- or
8-lobed leaves and yellow flowers in large racemes or panicles. 3-4 ft
high...."

What you want?

Diann

I just called my local nursery for aconitums and they apparently have this
one -- claiming it has sulphur yellow flowers. I can't say I've heard of
this one before. How about you?
