Re: Anemone sylvestris

I wonder what I've got then, Janet. Would you expect the Anemone sylvestris
to be flowering at the same time as Dicentra spectabilis Alba, because
there's one in flower just inches away from the (?possible?) A. sylvestris.
I was amazed when I saw it last week, because I wouldn't have expected it to
flower till about May. It's been exceptionally mild here this winter, and
despite all the rain we had last month, we also had a lot of sunshine. The
light levels were much higher than we would normally expect in February, so
I wondered if the warmth and extra light levels have brought many plants on.
We also had a high rate of germination for the seeds, so perhaps it is
something else.

With my RHS seeds I also have A. rivularis. Do you grow that?
