RE: liverwort


Liverworts are Bryophytes.  Closely related to mosses.
Liverwort = Marchantia polymorpha - this is the liverwort we have been
discussing.  There are many others that are not pests.  There are actually
people who happily grow liverworts in their deep shade gardens along with
many mosses and lichens.
