that's along time? we get five days or a week or longer were the sun
never comes out and it rains and mists all day usually once ever summer,
Minnesota the land or extremes,
I love lychnis too and there are a good number to grow, like most plants with
hairy leaves they do not like prolonged wet conditions would give then
another try but use them in a location were the soil is well draining and
poor in nitrogen, they are short lived in rich soils. If you have the space
they look best in a large group, mix well with sedum's.
Lychnis coronaria will seed around but the root system makes it easy to pull,
if you need something short and do not want the flowers they can be cut off a
few times over the summer and the plants will form a silver mat only a few
inches tall.
