Interestingly, this is the only geum that has lived any length of time for me; still had it last fall, so 4 years now. Won't know if it over wintered until the snow melts.
I have it in improved soil, but nothing special, certainly no extra drainage.
I enjoy this plant in bloom and collect the seed pods for indoors.
