You have no idea how envious I am. Just spent an hour cleaning up here in zone 5...nothing in bloom, but I managed to get really excited when I spotted a couple of sprouts of green from my daylilies and a few other goodies. Saying they're a couple of inches tall is generous, but I really am glad to see even that tiny bit of green.I second the envy. My reticulata iris foliage is about 2 inches tall - that's the tallest plant that's green in my garden. Tulips are up, but not much, and the daffs are just poking through the surface. It really has been an ugly winter and spring - what are my chances for a pleasant summer?
