RE: Canola as a horticultural oil

Hmm-  I'm thinking one of those Misto (you pump them and then they spray)
cans that are made for cooking might be just the trick.  No propellant to
worry about and you can fill with whatever oil you want.

I was beginning to think that my query was being regarded as
something from  Jerry Baker show!   Yes, there are certainly caveats.
Don't spray in too much heat/sunlight.  And of course, don't spray so
heavily that the propellant in the mixture (not specified on the
label) might cause leaf or shoot damage.

Another question.  If you emulsify the horticultural oil with
detergent, does it lose its effectiveness?
