Yes, indeed, they are, Margot.
Meant to put a wire fence around them and did not.... then forgot. Rabbits found them first. I can tell by the cut used to make the pruning. Deer absolutely love hydrangea.... deer candy big time. Now that it is almost too late, I am ordering my Liquid Fence today. Next will be my Rhodies and azaleas buds.
