Moss is typically an indicator of acid soil. Have you had a soil
test done ? If not, and the matter is urgent, you could try
putting down some granular limestone or dolomite (CaMgCO3) in a
limited area, but don't expect overnight results.
Moss grows in neutral and alkaline soils too. Moss is not a good indication
of acid soils just of damp soils.

But, wet soils can be the cause of acidifying the soil. The reason many
soils become acidic is the washing away of alkaline ions by water.
