I think it's here inCincinnalti at last too, Nancy. I was surprised to see
my Corydalis 'George Baker' in bloom here yesterday. I would have thought I'd
be a couple weeks behind yours down there in Tennessee. The early cyclamineus
daffodils are all starting to open and a few of the the trumpet and large cups
are showing a little color at the tip of the bud. DutchMaster is fully open.
We have many hellebores here and have recently finished cutting off all the
old foliage. The flowers now stand out and make quite a display. Most of them
have some open flowers and some buds still to open.
Starting also to see red on the Japanese maples--buds beginning to swell.
Spring couldn't get here too soon for our winter-besieged area.
