Salvia maroccana

Does anyone grow or know anything about this plant?  I have seedlings going
from some old seed from Chiltern, but I don't have the catalog handy and can't
remember anything about it.  It might be an annual, but I'm not even sure
about that.  Any details about height, growing conditions, and whether it can
be trusted in polite society would be appreciated.
