Don, After checking sites I trust and AHS (and even my trusty old Hortus3), I'd say it's definitely Zone 7, which doesn't have a prayer in Wisconsin. Maybe you'd like to try it in a pot and haul it in for the winter. I see Annie's has it for only $10 so, if you really can't break the craving, it's not that expensive to try. -----Original Message----- From: owner-perennials@hort.net [o*@hort.net] On Behalf Of Don Martinson Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2020 11:27 AM To: perennials@hort.net Cc: woodyplants@hort.net Subject: Buddleja globosa "Orange Ball Tree" I’ve always been intrigued by this shrub/perennial, but information on it’s hardiness are all over the (USDA) map. I’ve seen some rate it to as cold as Zone 5 (me), although I’m pretty certain it would be a dieback plant this far north (SE Wisconsin). I would be able to give it some protection by planting it on the south side of my house. Does anyone have any experience with Buddleja globosa?
