White wings , like Dainty Bess ,is a beautiful hybrid tea in the right
conditions. One of the conditions being warmth. And like Dainty Bess, it
struggles if there is windy conditions or a lot of rain. Both these
roses need to have a rich soil and organic type fertilizer because like
some other roses, they both resent too much chemicals in the soil. I
grow over 400 of the old climber, ramblers and modern shrubs and have
noticed this in many of them especially the David Austin roses. Lynnette
