Maybe I missed a digest over the weekend. Can someone please provide actual
names of perennial sweet peas, such as the type that someone mentioned grow
quite tall?
Thanks

This plant is Lathyrus latifolius Hardy in zones 3-8.
Mine grows in part shade and grows 7-8 feet tall.
It is growing on the same support as a nice large clematis.
So every year we have a contest to see which plant will be the largest.
The sweet pea blooms from mid summer to frost.
every year it looks like it is dead- but in mid spring it takes off.
There are a few seedlings from it too- they need to be moved this year because
thay have decided to grow over some of my "white garden" were I have a white
geranium maculatum and a nice clump ofwhite shooting star and Viola
septentrionalis FORM albas
