We have two MUTT's ("multi-use tough tools"), a full size one and a sort of
junior one.  We first bought them for chopping ice one tough winter, but I
hadn't thought about using it for daylilies!  Thank you!  (We also got one
for my m-i-l.)  They're not always easy to find, but grab it at $20.)
