Hi Mary-Rain, Oh, there are so many shade friendly perennials. For a good
reference book, try The Natural Shade Garde by Ken Druse. But for now, here
are a few I use, Astilbe, Corydalis, Azalea, Rhododendron, Hosta,
Doronicum, Vinca, Trillium, Jack in the Pulpit, Hellebore, Carex, Ferns,
Sarcoccoca, hardy Fuchsia, Pieris, evergreen Huckleberry, Hydrangea, Ladies
Mantle, Solomons Seal, Begonia grandis and also the tuberous types,
Aconitum, Digitalis and many others. I'll give someone else a chance.
