perennials for wet winter conditions?

Now that the last batch of snow is melting, I can see that part of my new
garden is totally  saturated (with some standing water), and will likely  be
so for weeks. It seems to me that many perennials cannot abide
over-wintering in these conditions. Any suggestions on some that can? (sun,
and part-sun) zone 5 - mid-Michigan.
