Margot, If you let your Nepeta and Lavender go to seed, you will find many
"volunteers" around your plants the following spring. These 2 also start
easily from cuttings in the summer. I don't know how you would divide the
lavender since it has a single rooted main stem. Try growing some
Dianthuses with them too, you won't be sorry.
