I have this book and really enjoy it-- it's fun because it tells something
about why the plant has its name and what the name means.
Timber Press also puts out a much more in-depth book called, "Botanical
Latin."
I use Powells Books (a local Portland bookseller) for the source of many of
my gardening books. They have a wonderful on-line purchasing service, and
also sell used books in excellent condition and at wonderful prices.
