If you like small Scabiosa's that bloom all summer into fall try Scabiosa
japonica 'Alpina' - Plants flower around 4-5 inches tall and form a short
lived but self seeding clump that grows 8-10" wide. Plants can be divided
every summer and made into a great carpet of lavender-blue pincushion like
flowers.
