The scabiosa Susan is referring to is
S. ochroleuca. I haven't found this one to bloom quite as long as
'Butterfly Blue'. There is also a giant scabiosa call Cephalaria gigantea
(Tree Scabiosa) that is huge in bloom. It can grow 6 to 8 feet tall in
bloom and usually doesn't need staking if it is planted in full sun. It is
a good "see-through" plant--very airy. This one looks good with
S. ochroleuca in front since they are the same color. I would plant
something else in the middle of the two for contrast.
