I think you'd have to ask them to know their answer...

Many evergreen daylilies were developed in tropical conditions and may not
fully appreciate cloudy summers or cool summer temperatures.  They may not
be able to store away enough energy for bountiful or even mediocre flowering
and the crowns may be prone to rot during your cold, wet winters.

Some evergreens can adapt to northern conditions...but they seem to
appreciate more mulch than dormants.  They don't like our changable springs
very much...and the mulch keeps them from expending too much energy when new
growth gets battered by constant freezes.
