Yup, and it's so welcome here too, isn't it!!! Cream Beauty opened
up right before the snow and didn't look so good afterwards, but now
they've perked up and I have a patch of about 25 by the front door.
Another patch of C. tommasinianus is almost glowing about five
feet away, and C. flavus 'Golden Yellow' is blooming its heart out
underneath the birch tree.
Like you said, the snowdrops aren't doing much, but the daffodils are
ready to burst!
Did some cleaning up in the yard for a few minutes this morning, and
it looks like the Verbena canadensis and all of the columbines are
sending up new growth like mad. Some of the hardy geraniums are
showing some new green too, as are the cushion spurges and irises.
Even the my William Baffin rose is showing big red buds, and the
lilac buds seem to be doubling daily.
