Do you use a Gardner's apron or some kind of handy-dandy carry-all?
I use an apron (please don't tell, but I copied it from one I saw in a garden
center).
It has one pocket in the center for my pruners and a larger pocket on each
side for whatever else I need.
B4 you join GA, try keeping some plant tags & a marker in one of them thar
pockets.
