Re: Day light savings time

Hi All,
Actually, DST starts on the first Sunday in April at 2 am and ends on the last
Sunday in October at 2 am. This year the first sunday in april just happens
to be Easter Sunday! Or Holy Saturday at 2 am, which is when we have to
'spring ahead' so we won't be late for mass on Easter Sunday!!! Easter is
early this year, isn't it?
This question prompted me to do a search, on daylight savings, and I found out
some interesting things. This one site, which wants to end daylight savings,
said that in 1973, we kept daylight savings time all year! Is that possible?
I sure don't remember that! and that it was only stardardized in 1986!
Please visit: www.standardtime.com to learn more about it! They also have
a proposal to end the four time zones, and divide the country into two time
zones. Kinda of interesting!
I for one would like to stay on daylight savings time all the time! Never
have been a morning person, and like the daylight at the end of the day! Gives
me more time to 'dig in the dirt' and enjoy my garden in the evening when all
the kids and DH are home!
Any thoughts on how this would effect our gardening? How would this effect our
moon gardens? Would we all stay up later to enjoy? ( just kidding!)
