Re: What to do about rabbit droppings?


If it's the same stuff used for guinea pigs, there's nothing wrong with
putting it in the compost except that I found it takes a while to
decompose...needs copious nitrogen to help it and you have to make sure it
gets thoroughly wetted.  For some reason, if you don't get it good and wet
to start out with it doesn't seem to get wet and your finished compost will
have a nice wad of it undecomposed (voice of experience here).  But,
anything organic will rot down given time.
