Dicentra et al.......


I have had dicentra formosa and d. alba in bloom for 1-2 weeks now.  Also
daffodils and mini-daffs, primroses, cyclamen, and a "St. Brigid" anemone
(sorry-- dont' recall the Latin name).  I also have thumb-thick shoots of
hosta 3-4" tall and first growths of dianthus, columbine, and Shasta daisy.
My pink jasmine is full of buds, and the star jasmine just beginning to show
them.

In the "Pacific NW" corner, the sword and bracken fern fiddleheads are ready
to unfold, the false Solomon's seal is poking up, the miner's lettuce is
growing robustly, and the shooting star (dodecatheon), lily of the valley,
and trillium (t. ovatum) are unfolding.......
