I'll add my two cents about Home Depot...
I just visited them this weekend to pick up a couple of things when, like a
siren's call, I floated out to the garden center. They had the usual
pansies and other cold weather annuals, but mixed in-between were flats of
baby perennials. I off-handedly asked a clerk the prices of those and she
snapped "$1.25 for a 4-pack like the sign says". I saw the sign had
indicated "annuals", but who was I to argue with such a disagreeable woman?
I therefore bought a mixed flat of shasta daisies, hollyhocks, candytuft,
and salvia -- all for $1.25 a 4-pack.
Going hee-hee-hee all the way home,
