Do you know the Latin name for this shrub? I'm not familiar with it.
I've tried "regular" heliotrope a couple of times, but it doesn't seem
to last very long in our heat and humidity.
I've really enjoyed all the responses to the fragrance question. And
had to giggle a little, as well. In various places around the yard, I
have an herb bed...and a gardenia...and some Stargazer lilies...and lily
of the valley. But, you know, most of them are in out of the way
places, where I never get to really enjoy their scent. It's good to
know I don't have to go broke planting my new bed, I can move some
things already around, and just buy a few additions!! (that will make
my husband happy, as well...)
Paul: will pycnanthemum flexuosum grow from seed? Do you have it for
sale?
Chuck: is your neighbor's might blooming jasmine grown in pots or in
the ground? I have some cuttings I'm tempted to try in the new bed.
Thanks, all
