Diane, I do believe you have led me to a treasure trove of wonderful plants!
Being very new to this list, and also somewhat new to the "rare and unusual"
types of plants, I truly appreciate your sharing this site.
Does anyone else know of any other especially attractive sedums? I have
Vera Jameson, and a couple of variegated ones -- names unknown, with pinkish
whitish flowers. I have started a sedum garden, also including
sempervivums, but so far I have nothing particularly rare or unusual. I
liked it quite a bit anyway, though, until Euphorbia myrsinites (Donkeytail
Spurge) self-seeded all through it. The myrsinites will fairly glow with
yellow green this spring, then I think I'll drastically reduce its numbers
in the garden. The sap from this plant, BTW, can be extremely irritating to
the skin, so care must be taken when handling it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions of gorgeous hardy sedums (and/or)
other sources. I'm in Zone 5, rural, so I don't attempt the more tender
types.
