I had Dr. Still's book as a textbook in college. (Gives you some idea how
much fun it is to major in horticulture.) There is another reference book,
by Dr. Allan Armitage of the University of Georgia (where Michael Dirr also
teaches) called 'Herbaceous Perennial Plants -- A Treatise of Identification,
Culture and Garden Attributes', that I am sure you would enjoy. I use them
both all of the time and wouldn't be without either of them. Happy reading!
