A quack, charlatan, and snake-oil recipe salesman. My mother-in-law gave
me his series of books 5 years ago. I read them once, compelled by the
idiocy of his ideas and his wholesale "authority". On the other hand, I
enthusiastically recommend Jerry Baker's books to anyone who routinely
purchases from Michigan Bulb Company and/or has a Basket O' Spilling
'Tunias in their lawn. Ditto for Bathtub Madonnas and Bedframe Flower
Beds. Also, if you LUV exclamation marks at the end of mundane sentences,
Jerry's your man.
As for his recipes, they're voodoo for armchair gardeners.
