columbine-is such a slut of a plant. My native wild has mated with the
McKenna Giants and produced some interesting off spring.
I have seeded a bed just for the natives where I won't plant other pretties!
purple coneflower
california poppy
astilbe
hollyhock
pulmonaria-this is pretty rampant in shady moist soil for me but easy to
contain and move.

hellebores orientalle niger
cerinthe (an annual but reseeds itself in sunny spots)one of my favorite plants

in my Northwest Natives garden, all these have reseeded the second year
and the growth is luxuriant on the older plants
