===>I'm definitely going to look this one up. One year I watched a blue
jay
who had found a chewing gum wrapper--the shiny foil portion. He or she
took
it to the nest, which was above the patio, and inserted it. Then stepped
back as if to look at himself in the mirror, was dissatisfied, and pulled
it
out. In the process a breeze caught it and it started to fall to the
ground,
but blue jay caught it mid-air. Tried another position, stood back,
removed
and dropped it. This was repeat a dozen times and was great fun to watch.
