Louise:
Sounds like you have Melton Pastels. I've never seen it growing but the
seed is widely available in my area (Southern Ontario)as many of the garden
centres carry Unwin's seeds. Looks like a nice mix of colours, but I prefer
the species colour. It fits in better where my plants are. Mine are
evergreen here as well but normally it doesn't matter because during the
winter the foliage is under a foot of snow.
