Hi Linda- I have a lovely Climbing Gold Badge from Heirloom Roses what
covers itself with full double blooms, sort of golden yellow the leaves
are pale green and it's a repeat bloomer.
And, on the cover of the Heritage Rose catalog this year is The
Impressionist, which I have not seen yet as it wasn't quite ready to
bloom mothers day.
They say it begins with a rich yellow and transitions to a salmon in the
fall. A repeat bloomer and with an old rose fragrance am considering
this myself for my new arbor and am planning a trip to their gardens
again tomorrow's let you know what it's like in real life.
If you don't have a catalog, you can visit their website
http://www.hurloomroses.com
I have bought only heirloom roses the past 3 years they are grown on
their own root snot root stock. They are guaranteed virus free and are
hardy. I had experienced roses that came healthy to me but didn't make
it thru the first season (even from J&P) but my heirloom roses are
strong and hardy.
I don't work there (though I'd like to) so this is just a consumers opinion.
Say-maybe I could trade work for roses........
