Just might work, Barb, if they're large enough. Flower heads on
euphorbs can be big. But, if you've stashed a few, try them and see.
Anything with a mesh small enough to contain the seed, that allows
air and water to pass through and doesn't remain wet long after a
rain would work. Old nylons fit that bill well.
Very dust fine seed might escape them, I don't know as I haven't
tried them for it. When I've collected Primula seed, I've just
watched the heads closely and Digitalis, I just shake around when I
cut the old stalks, or upend in a paper grocery or shopping bag, so
haven't tried to "catch" it. But they work a treat for decent sized
sneaky seed that pops out when you turn your back for one instant.
