    Thanks, Val and Lera, for the suggestions. I wouldn't want to use up
any of her house space just to grow a flat for me, but she could
certainly buy me a flat of impatiens next year, when we have to sell the
house.
    We were going to give the lights away to an adoption agency (they
have a thrift shop) but it's much easier to leave them at the neighbor's
house and donate cash instead.
