Ok -- I just got some Equisetum, with which I was sooooo pleased to get. I
was aware it was very invasive, but I'd read as long as it was contained in
a pot it wasn't a problem -- the spores were really of no consequence. It
sounds like that information was incorrect? I'm concerned because my back
yard borders woods, and I wanted to keep it the pot on my back patio. But,
I don't want to cause a major problem for the woods (or anywhere for that
matter). If the spores are a problem in terms of its invasiveness, can they
be removed (do they grow at the tip and can the tips be cut at a certain
time of year before the spores release)?
Thanks for any information!
