Any narcissus bulb can cause an allergic reaction to those who are sensitive
to it. With fungicide-treated bulbs I suppose it is possible to have both an
allergic reaction to the bulb as well as a separate reaction to the fungicide
residue. I think the main concern about fungicides is cumulative effects of
contact (and it's a lot of contact when you're bagging 8000 bulbs). I don't
know the research on different chemicals but I do know that many of them MAY
be carcinogenic. I don't think it's worth the risk.
