It was the only thing that worked for me, Chris. But even then my plant was
a shy bloomer. Where I live now, there was an existing wisteria that climbed
high into the hemlocks and bloomed some up at the top where it did get full
sun exposure. The one I pruned for years also got pretty much full sun,
except very late in the afternoon.
